Story line
The Story of "Duality" is inspired by “Black Swan” movie that is taken from the well-known ballet show “The Swan Lake”.
“Duality” narrates a pure, virginal, innocent girl who finds herself playing the role of the White good Swan perfectly, but never the black evil Swan.
After a deep conflict between her good and evil sides, She gradually became able to take off her veil of innocence and imprisoned soul to a perfect pure seductive Black Swan.

Challenge:​ Expressing the transformation of a ballerina from the extreme pureness to the extreme darkness & embracing her 2 sides to the fullest

Solution: Creating costumes inspired by the character of the movie in each phase & using specific colors in each stage in her role

Duality Story Intro
Phase One
"Rebellion"
"Duality" in this phase lives in an inner conflict where she begins to get rebellious on her life & her perspective to it. She torns out her layers of innocence & delicacy to reveal the dark side she has within & start to change her skin.
Phase Two
"Dual Me"
"Dual Me" narrates how Duality slowly turns into a black swan & who is behind revealing her dark evil side. Her Master was the backstage character who intriggered her hidden-evil side. Playing on the keys of the piano symbolizes his full control on her. Seeing herself in the mirror transforming into Two persons, two opposite natures combined in one body, one psyche which will make one of them wins at the end.
Phase Three
"The Dark Awakening"
At Last came the Black Swan, Duality Succeeded in turning into a magnificent, marvelous new swan. Her features, character, moves, feeling says how confident, edgy, strong, bold, professional, controlling she is. People can easily fall under her spell.
